T.J. Hockenson avoids IR

T.J. Hockenson took a vicious fall landing on his head and shoulder during Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs. Avoiding IR after being carted off during the game is positive news for Hockenson, his family, and the Detroit Lions organization. (Adam Schefter on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
It is safe to assume that Hockenson could miss a few games. If that proves to be accurate, the Lions would turn to Jesse James to fill Hockenson’s role while he is recovering. It would be best for fantasy owners to look elsewhere for TE assistance.
