Jets quarterback Sam Darnold has been cleared to play ahead of the team's Week 6 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. He had missed the last three games as he recovered from mononucleosis. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
Darnold had been feeling better for a couple of weeks, but he was being held out because his spleen was still enlarged and made exposing him to contact too risky. He will return to an 0-4 Jets team that faces a tough matchup against a Cowboys team that just lost two straight games.
