Davante Adams (toe) has no timetable to return, remains day-to-day

Davante Adams let the media know that his turf toe injury is a 'serious injury' that will need to be handled appropriately. Adams was quoted saying, "We’re just really trying to pace it at this point. I can’t really tell you when I’m going to play." Adams continued, "[The toe] doesn’t feel how I want it to feel at the moment, but we definitely have time, so we’ll just kind of play this thing [out]." He went on to say, "I'm not playing through anything when it comes to this, it’s not a toughness thing." (Journal Sentinel)

Fantasy Impact:

Adams has not been ruled out for Week 6 but his statements are cause for concern if you are the fantasy team rostering him. With the Packers playing on MNF it does make for a risky bet to count on Adams playing. Fantasy owners will need to make careful judgement on Adams' status prior to Sunday's slate of games. From this report, I would lean on the side that Adams will miss MNF and I would make sure to have a backup plan. If the pain is how Adams described, it may be best that he rests through Week 6.
