Patrick Mahomes (knee) could return in less than three weeks

Patrick Mahomes (knee) "could return in three weeks, if not sooner," Adam Schefter reports. (Adam Schefter on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

Mahomes dislocated his right knee cap in the second quarter of Thursday’s win against the Broncos. His original timetable was three-to-five weeks, but Mahomes is expected to beat that timeline. Assuming all goes well with his recovery, Mahomes could return for Sunday’s Week 10 matchup against the Titans. The Chiefs' Week 11 Monday night game (on November 18th) still represents the most plausible best-case scenario for his return to action. With a bye Week 12, the team might simply play it safe with the star quarterback and hold him out till Week 13.
