J.D. McKissic logs four touches in Week 8 Lions

by Raju Byfield | Mon, Oct 28th 6:35pm EDT

Detroit Lions running back J.D. McKissic disappointed in Week 8 with just four touches.

Fantasy Impact:

There had been some speculation that J.D. McKissic would be second in line for backfield touches, but instead he played just 25 percent of the snaps behind both Ty Johnson and Tra Carson. McKissici disappointed with one carry for -1 yards and three receptions for just two yards receiving. McKissic looks to be part of an uninspiring four man backfield, but operated as the second receiving option out of the backfield (his three backfield targets were just one behind Johnson’s four), a role that could lend itself to some bye week filler value in full PPR leagues. This is a backfield situation to avoid until a lead back emerges.
