DeSean Jackson expected to play Week 9

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (abdomen) is expected to play in Week 9. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Jackson hasn't played since Week 2 with an injury to his abdomen area but could be in line to return for Sunday's home encounter with the Bears. If Jackson is indeed active, he could be the missing piece to an Eagles offense that looked as-advertised with Jackson in the lineup through the first two games of the year but has taken a dramatic step back, more so in the passing game, since the veteran wideout has been sidelined. While he won't get the best matchup facing a Bears defense yielding the third-fewest fantasy points to enemy wideouts, Jackson could still be busy as I expect Carson Wentz to take a few deep shots to his speedy receiver. Jackson is a boom or bust Flex option for Week 9 if he plays.
