NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Panthers WR Curtis Samuel (shoulder) is expected to play in Week 9. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Samuel is dealing with a shoulder injury but is on track to play in Sunday's matchup with the Titans. Samuel, who has seen at least six targets in every game since the season opener including 11 last week, could be used in the Flex spot on Sunday facing a Titans defense surrendering the 23rd most fantasy points to enemy receivers. Though he is likely better fit for PPR scoring formats this week as yards could be hard to come by and may need to score to return value in standard scoring.
