Jay Ajayi visiting Eagles on Friday

Free agent and former Eagles running back Jay Ajayi is visiting his former team on Friday, according to a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Eagles already have an effective running back duo in Jordan Howard and rookie Miles Sanders, so Ajayi's visit does not appear to make much sense on the surface. However, Howard suffered a shoulder injury during the team's Week 9 win over the Bears and has been limited this week in practice. It's possible that Howard's injury is more serious than originally thought, or it's not out of the question that the Eagles are considering using Sanders more as a wide receiver given the rookie's success catching the ball and the struggles of their receiving corps. In any event, more information should be available tomorrow.
