Jordan Howard not expected to play in Week 11

by Anthony Cervino | Sun, Nov 17th 5:35am EST

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) is out for Week 11, but the designation has not yet been confirmed. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Howard has been trending in the wrong direction for an active status all week long, and it doesn't look like he will ultimately get one. While Rapoport is stating that Howard is ruled out, ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that he is not expected to play. Due to the conflicting reports, I would monitor Howard's playing status leading up to the official active/ inactive destinations later in the morning with the expectation that he sits. With Darren Sproles now on injured reserve, the Eagles are expected to feature Miles Sanders with the newly signed Jay Ajayi in the mix for touches as well facing a Patriots defense yielding the fewest FPPG to the running back position. Even if Howard plays, he is not a recommended fantasy start for Week 11.
