Jordan Howard 'unlikely' to play Week 12

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) is not expected to play in Week 12. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Howard, who missed last week's loss to the Patriots with a shoulder injury, is still reportedly not cleared for contact, which means he is not expected to play in Sunday's home tilt with the Seahawks. If Howard indeed sits, Eagles HC Doug Pederson told the press that Jay Ajayi would have a "notable role" this week -- he did not see the field in last week's loss -- facing a tough Seattle front-seven. However, while Ajayi is hard to trust, Miles Sanders could be in line for another game with double-digit touches. In fact, Sanders had 13 touches in back-to-back games, and due to his role in the passing game, he is the only Eagles running back to trust in PPR for Week 12. For Ajayi, he is likely extremely touchdown-needy in a tough but exploitable matchup.
