If Rivers, who has thrown for 560 yards with three touchdowns and seven interceptions combined in his past two games continues to struggle and turn over the football, the Chargers are prepared to bench the longtime starter in favor of Tyrod Taylor, who doesn't have the worst track record as a starter in this league. From a fantasy football perspective, Rivers has not thrown for more than two scores in a game since the season opener and has been erratic under pressure all season long. Perhaps turning to the mobile Taylor isn't the worst idea. He could light a spark in an offense with enough firepower to be amongst the best in the league. For Rivers, it's not getting any easier to be a statue pocket passer with a bad offensive line in the NFL nowadays no matter how good your supporting cast is.
