Stefon Diggs takes backseat to Thielen in OT victory

by Zachary Hanshew | Texans Correspondent | Sun, Jan 5th 5:34pm EST

Stefon Diggs caught two of three targets for 19 yards, adding eight yards on two carries in the Vikings’ 26-20 overtime victory over the Saints on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Diggs was barely involved Sunday, bringing in his first catch near the end of the third quarter. That reception was big, however, as it came on third down and set up a Dalvin Cook touchdown. Diggs was visibly frustrated on the sideline, tossing his helmet at one point and engaging in histrionics throughout the contest. With Adam Thielen (129 yards) looking healthy again, Diggs’ role atop the pecking order in the receiving game has likely come to an end, though he should be able to produce a better line than this in the Divisional Round next weekend.
