Cam Newton expected to be cleared for football activity in March

The Panthers believe that QB Cam Newton will pass his physical and be cleared to return to football-related activity sometime in March. (Jourdan Rodrigue on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Carolina is expected to continue to handle Newton cautiously when he returns, and there's still no guarantee that he's with the team when the 2020 NFL season begins. If he proves healthy, at least over the summer, Newton is likely to get a shot under center with some team, but he's also hard to trust for fantasy purposes at this point.
