49ers general manager John Lynch told reporters the team is committed to quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo moving forward. “We’re extremely proud of Jimmy and committed to Jimmy moving forward. This isn't surprising after the team advanced to the Super Bowl, making huge strides in Jimmy G's first full season under center. Still, Garoppolo was more of a game manager for the team, who often relied on their running game and defense to win games.
