Andy Dalton: Bears express interest in trading for QB

The Bears have touched base with the Bengals regarding acquiring quarterback Andy Dalton. (The Athletic)
Fantasy Impact:
There has been talk through the early offseason that the Bears are planning to bring in some competition for incumbent Mitch Trubisky, and this would have the veteran Dalton be that fire to try to spur on the younger player. Dalton was replaced and then reinserted at QB in Cincinnati in 2019, and his future with the team is unclear at this point given the expectation that the Bengals will draft QB Joe Burrow No. 1 overall. Given that, it wouldn't be surprising for Cincy to see what they can get for Dalton via trade.
