There have been rumblings this offseason that the Jaguars are considering trading quarterback Nick Foles, and Pro Football Talk hears that there is interest in the veteran signal-caller, though "no substantive trade talks have happened, yet." (Pro Football Talk)
Foles signed a large deal to join the Jaguars only to struggle early and be replaced due to injury and ineffectiveness by rookie Gardner Minshew. The team has not declared a starter, and it seems that they would be open to moving Foles. Since there are several veteran QBs available via free agency and some first-round caliber NFL Draft QB prospects, this situation may not be settled until during or just after the NFL Draft. Either way, it's not a given that Foles will have a starting role in 2020.
