Dak Prescott offered $33 million annually by Cowboys

by Blaine Blontz | Cowboys Correspondent | Mon, Mar 9th 9:10am EDT

Dak Prescott's agent met again with the Cowboys and the team reportedly offered the quarterback an average salary of $33 million with a guaranteed contract of $105 million. (Dallas Morning News)

Fantasy Impact:

This would represent the same average annual salary that Prescott turned down in 2019, so it's not clear that this will move the needle despite some potential additions in guarantees. While it's unclear if Prescott will sign a long-term deal ahead of the 2020 season, it does seem like he'll be back under center with the Cowboys, who are prepared to use their franchise tag on Prescott as needed. Prescott will enter the 2020 season as a QB1, as he's currently the QB5 based on our early expert consensus rankings.
