The Seahawks said that running back Chris Carson is making progress from his hip injury but still is very limited. However, the team does expect him to be ready for the start of the season. (Bob Condotta on Twitter)
Obviously, Carson being ready for the start of the season would only help his value, but this is a situation that should continue to be monitored to make sure Carson is ready to go for Week 1. The Seahawks have been one of the most run-heavy teams in the NFL, which benefited Carson in 2019 before his injury. It will be interesting to see how the team addresses the position in free agency and the NFL Draft, if at all, as this could be a sign of things to come for incumbents like Carson. Carson is currently the RB14 based on our early expert consensus rankings.
