NFL players approve new CBA, 17-game schedule

Fantasy Impact:
The vote was 51.5% to 48.5%, which is an incredibly slim margin. Many players initially voiced their displeasure with the proposed CBA but it has ultimately come to pass. The major headlines are that beginning in 2020 the playoffs will be expanded by two additional teams. Then, in 2021, NFL owners have the option to expand the regular season from 16 games to 17 games. More details should trickle out in the coming hours.
