Ryan Tannehill and Titans reportedly agree to extension

Ryan Tannehill and the Titans have reportedly agreed to a four-year contract worth $118 million. The deal includes $62 million fully guaranteed. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

There were rumors earlier in the day that things were trending in this direction, and the parties were able to cross the finish line. In addition to locking in the highly efficient Tannehill, the move allows the Titans to franchise tag Derrick Henry, and further takes a suitor off the table for Tom Brady. Whether Tannehill can repeat his incredible 2019 season (22:6 TD:INT rate) is an open question, but at the very least, he should remain an upgrade over Marcus Mariota.
