The San Francisco 49ers and defensive lineman Arik Armstead agreed to a new five-year deal worth up to $85 million, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Armstead had a breakout year in San Francisco, recording 10 sacks while playing in all 16 games. He will now stick around with the 49ers and solidify their defensive line for years to come opposite Nick Bosa.
