Todd Gurley being released by Rams

Fantasy Impact:
The Rams were reportedly trying to trade Gurley today as he was guaranteed $10.5 million as of 4 PM. However, it's understandable why teams weren't exactly interested in trading for the injury-prone RB. By cutting the 25-year-old franchise icon the Rams will still have to pay him his $7.55 million roster bonus (and absorb $12.6 million in dead cap on top of that). Just two years ago Gurley was considered a generational running back but injuries have taken their roll. Los Angeles was also in desperate need of cap relief.
