Phillip Walker reportedly signs with Carolina Panthers

Quarterback P.J. Walker, who was a standout star in the XFL before their season was cut short due to coronavirus concerns, has agreed to a deal with the Carolina Panthers, according to multiple reports. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Panthers signed Teddy Bridgewater to be their starting quarterback this offseason, but it is worth noting that Walker will be reuniting with his college head coach, Matt Rhule, with the Panthers. That could give him an advantage over Bridgewater in the early going, but the latter is still likely to start given the financial commitment the Panthers made.
