Kyle Allen traded to the Redskins

The Panthers have traded quarterback Kyle Allen to the Redskins in an exchange for a fifth round draft pick. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
The Panthers recently signed Teddy Bridgewater and PJ Walker this offseason, making Allen expendable. The 24-year-old threw for 3,332 yards with 17 touchdowns and 16 interceptions across 13 games for the Panthers last season. Allen will compete with Dwayne Haskins for the Redskins’ starting quarterback job. Whichever player emerges as the starter is merely an option in two-quarterback or super-flex league formats.
