Trent Williams wants to be traded or released, per his agent

Redskins OL Trent Williams and his agent, Vincent Taylor, have made it clear to Redskins Owner Dan Snyder that they want the organization to act in both Williams’ and the team’s best interest and either trade or release the veteran Pro-Bowler. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Williams sat out the entire 2019 season hoping to be dealt by the Redskins, but no such deal came to fruition. The former 2010 first-round pick out of Oklahoma has been openly frustrated with the organization for a couple of years now, and it’s now officially on the table from his agent that he wants to be traded or released. Washington doesn’t want to just release him, they want to obtain some sort of compensation for the Pro-Bowl LT. The problem has been that other teams around the NFL are unwilling to part with high draft picks to obtain the 31-year old Williams. It’ll be interesting to see what Snyder does now that everything is out in the open and the floodgates have officially been opened by Williams and his representation.
