WR Demarcus Robinson is signing a one-year, $2,297,500 fully guaranteed deal to remain in Kansas City. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Robinson, a former 2016 fourth-round selection out of Florida, has played three seasons with the Chiefs. Last year, Robinson found himself with a golden opportunity as fellow WR Tyreek Hill went down with a shoulder injury very early in the season. Robinson capitalized with some monster games for those that were able to pick him up off the waiver wire. He finished the year with 32 catches for 449 yards and four touchdowns. At best, he’s the 5th option on offense behind Hill, Travis Kelce, Mecole Hardman, and Sammy Watkins. Even with Watkins’ future with the Chiefs being up in the air, Robinson doesn’t find himself as anything more than a boom-or-bust WR5 heading into the year. He’ll be a hot waiver-wire pickup just like in 2019 if Hill or Hardman are to suffer an injury in 2020.
