Kyle Allen expects to 'compete' for starting QB role in Washington

by Blaine Blontz | Washington Correspondent | Wed, Apr 1st 1:21pm EDT

Kyle Allen told reporters that he believes the "expectation is to come in and compete for" the starting quarterback role in Washington. (Richmond Times-Dispatch)

Fantasy Impact:

Washington invested a first-round pick in incumbent Dwayne Haskins just a year ago, but with a new regime will come new expectations, and Haskins didn't exactly cement his role during his rookie season. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, but neither Allen or Haskins is likely to be fantasy relevant in most league formats in 2020. Their impact will instead most likely be on the skill position players around them.
