Jadeveon Clowney’s agent has had talks with the Titans front office

Per Titans GM Jon Robinson, the team has been in touch with the agent of Pro-Bowl DE Jadeveon Clowney. (Jim Wyatt on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
A move to bring in an experienced and versatile pass rusher like Clowney would make a whole lot of sense for Tennessee, who struggled to get pressure on the quarterback last season. Clowney, the former 2014 first overall pick, spent last season with the Seahawks in what many would consider a down year for him, only recording three sacks in 13 games. In the two seasons prior to last with the Texans, Clowney went for 9.5 and nine sacks respectively, so the ability is certainly there given the right opportunity. We’ll see how things play out in the upcoming weeks, but the Titans general manager certainly wants people to know that they’ve called about Clowney.
