Justin Herbert to the Dolphins in newest expert’s mock draft

by Adam Koffler | Chargers Correspondent | Tue, Apr 7th 9:58pm EDT

NFL Network Analyst Daniel Jeremiah has the Miami Dolphins taking Oregon QB Justin Herbert with the 5th overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. (Daniel Jeremiah on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Experts have similar grades for both Herbert and Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa. The latter is thought to be the better prospect long-term, but Miami may opt for the sure thing. Dolphins scouts were able to see Herbert at the Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine while Tagovailoa was nursing a variety of injuries. Given the clean bill of health and similar draft grades, Jeremiah has Miami ultimately going with Herbert with the fifth pick. That would leave Tagovailoa available for the Los Angeles Chargers at the sixth pick, and most believe that would be their guy given the need at the quarterback position with Philip Rivers now in Indianapolis.
