While the Washington Redskins are likely to select DE Chase Young from Ohio State, there’s still a possibility they could throw a curveball in the Draft and select a QB with the second-overall pick. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Even if the Redskins do go off-script and select a QB (most likely Justin Herbert or Tua Tagovailoa), teams around the league don’t believe Young will drop past Detroit at number three. This news could potentially throw a loop in Miami or Los Angeles’ draft plans, as both teams probably expect their QB to be available with the fifth and sixth overall pick. The top of the first-round could get very interesting if Washington goes with a quarterback over Young at number two.
