Tony Jefferson begins running five months after ACL and LCL surgery

Former Ravens safety Tony Jefferson posted a video of himself on social media running on a treadmill and stated, “feels good to be back on my feet!” He’s just five months removed from surgery to repair a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee. (ProFootballTalk on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Jefferson came to Baltimore as a highly-coveted free agent after spending four seasons in Arizona. He was cut by the Ravens in February this year after the team decided to give Chuck Clark a contract extension, rolling with him in the secondary for the foreseeable future over Jefferson. With 450 tackles in 98 career games played, the veteran safety out of Oklahoma is hopeful a team will give him a chance, but admits it’s tough sledding to get anyone to feel comfortable given his inability to get medical clearance of any kind at this time. On the plus side, it’s being reported that a handful of teams are interested in Jefferson’s services. He continues to rehab and work out at his home in Southern California during the coronavirus pandemic.
