Jared Goff open to restructuring contract to create cap space

The Rams' cap situation is an absolute mess right now. It's admirable that Goff is publicly stating a willingness to help the team, but the decision might not even be up to him. That's because there is a clause in Goff's contract that gives Los Angeles the option to move money around freely. The 25-year-old won't take a pay cut in this case but it would help the Rams move around some of Goff's $36 million cap hit in 2020.
