D.K. Metcalf: Seahawks looking to expand versatility in the passing game

Fantasy Impact:
“He kind of got stuck at the ‘X’ receiver last year. This year we know we can move him around quite a bit more. I just think the flexibility of moving him around and introducing some different route concepts that we can kind of get him up to speed on will complement the things that he’s already put on film" were some of Schottenheimer's exact words. Metcalf began his rookie season only working outside the numbers but eventually emerged down the stretch as a more complete receiver. He wound up posting the most receiving yards ever by a rookie in a playoff game, putting up 160 yards against the Eagles. Added versatility would only help the 22-year-old's fantasy production.
