When Baylor WR Denzel Mims was asked if the Eagles have shown the most interest in him he stated, “I believe so, I talked to them a lot. At the combine, the Senior Bowl and even after. After the combine I’ve talked to them a lot. (Sports Radio WIP on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Mims went on to tell Sports Radio WIP that he believed he “killed the interview” with the Eagles. With the 21st pick in this year’s Draft, It’s widely thought that Philadelphia will go with a wide receiver to upgrade the weapons for QB Carson Wentz, who at times last year was working with a stable of receivers with little to no NFL experience. Mims is one of the most talented receivers in this draft class and has the measurables to show for it. He’s got 4.36 40-yard dash speed and a 10.34 catch radius which is good for 96th percentile. He’s also a tough kid with a high football IQ and great intangibles and would be a great fit in Philadelphia should the Eagles decide to go that direction. Mims will most likely hear his name called on Day 1 of the Draft.
