Winfield Jr. is the son of former NFL DB Antoine Winfield, and was a Big 10 defensive back of the year. He recorded 88 tackles and seven interceptions as a safety for the Golden Gophers in 2019. Winfield Jr.’s “hamstring and foot injuries are behind him,” and he is currently projected to be drafted in the second round in the latest mocks.
