Dak Prescott and Cowboys had "very positive" session in recent weeks

by Dave Kluge | Cowboys Correspondent | Mon, Apr 20th 3:04pm EDT

Dak Prescott and the Cowboys have reportedly had a recent session with positive implications regarding his desired contract extension. (Pro Football Talk)

Fantasy Impact:

Prescott has made it clear for the last year that he wants a long-term deal and with both sides unable to come to agreement the Cowboys used their franchise tag on the young quarterback, which he has not signed yet. Prescott has said that he would not participate in Monday's virtual workout. As it stands, both sides have until July 15th to come to an agreement or Prescott will be subjected to the franchise tag, which he apparently does not want to play under. The reports that Prescott's club and the Cowboys met with a positive connotation is great news, but this situation will require a lot of monitoring during the offseason as a holdout appears imminent.
