by Brad Camara | Saints Correspondent | Thu, Apr 23rd 8:07am EDT

The New Orleans Saints are “not afraid to pull that trigger” on a QB in the draft, said Saints’ General Manager Mickey Loomis. (Pro Football Talk on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

“If there’s someone that we really like and have a vision for that we are picking, then we are not afraid to pull that trigger,” said Loomis. Drew Brees has two years remaining in his contract, and will become an analyst at NBC Sports once his current deal is done. The team currently has Drew Brees and Taysom Hill on the QB depth chart and could look to add another one via the draft. “I think anytime you have a chance to get a quality quarterback prospect, regardless of your quarterback situation, you’ll like to take full advantage of that,” Loomis added. It remains to be seen what the Saints do as they search for Brees’ replacement in the near future.
