The Denver Broncos have selected tight end Albert Okwuegbunam with the No. 118 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. (Ryan O’Halloran on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Broncos clearly had a vision in this year’s Draft, and that was to surround QB Drew Lock with as much offensive firepower as possible to ensure his success and ability to grow as a potential franchise quarterback. The TE out of Missouri joins WRs Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler as selections made by GM John Elway thus far. At 6’5” and 258 pounds, Okwuegbunam ran a 4.49 40. He’s a physical specimen who can really stretch a defense down the seam. He’ll team up with TE Noah Fant in Denver to create a very solid 1-2 punch for Lock at the position. Fant remains a borderline TE1 even with the addition of Albert O.
