The Los Angeles Rams have selected tight end Brycen Hopkins with the No. 136 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. (Around the NFL on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Rams confused some people with this pick, as they already have two very good TEs in Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett. Nevertheless, they select Hopkins out of Purdue with the 136th overall pick in the Draft. According to Pro Football Focus, he had 22 drops on 152 catchable balls in college, which could be the reason he fell into the fourth round of the Draft. He’s a big, talented receiver with a lot of skill, but it doesn’t seem like a great fit for him in Los Angeles. The plus for Hopkins is that he’ll get to learn from one of the top receiving tight ends in the league in Higbee.
