Newly-acquired WR Marquise Goodwin and the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a restructured contract for one-year, $1.35M, with the opportunity to earn up to $1M in incentives. (Mike Kaye on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The restructuring of the contract comes just hours after the Eagles traded its 190th overall pick to the 49ers in exchange for Goodwin and the 210th overall pick. With the new one-year deal, he’ll become an unrestricted free agent after the 2020 season. This can be seen as a “prove it” deal for the 29-year old speedster who just hasn’t seen much of the field over the past couple seasons due to injuries. The Eagles hope Goodwin can get back to his 2017 level of production where he went for almost 1,000 receiving yards with the 49ers. He also owns a 16.6 yards per catch career average. Goodwin gets new life and a great opportunity in Philadelphia who needed more weapons for QB Carson Wentz.
