This is a no-brainer for the Texans, as Watson is the team's franchise player. He threw for 3,852 yards with a 29:12 TD:INT across 15 games in 2019. Watson will have to adjust to life without star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, but will have newly acquired Brandin Cooks and Randall Cobb as additional weapons. The Texans engaged in "very preliminary" extension talks with their franchise QB just before the 2020 NFL Draft. Watson is currently sixth among all quarterbacks in the expert consensus rankings.
