Former Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston has officially agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints. (New Orleans Saints on Twitter)

Now it’s official, Winston will join Drew Brees and Taysom Hill in the quarterback room in New Orleans. He’ll likely learn more from Brees and head coach Sean Payton in just one year than he’s learned in his entire professional career. While he’s relegated to a backup role in New Orleans, he’ll have the opportunity to reshape who he is as a quarterback and he could test the market once again after the 2020 season.
