Henry also told reporters that he was close to a long-term deal with Los Angeles prior to the coronavirus pandemic, and that he hopes to have a long-term extension agreed upon prior to the July deadline. Henry is confident that a season will be played, even if it has to be with no fans in the stadiums. Says he’s looking forward to all the talent on the roster and the leadership of new starting QB Tyrod Taylor. Henry still projects as a top 10 TE this season even without long-time Charger great Philip Rivers.
