Nick Mullens signs ERFA tender with 49er's

49er's backup quarterback Nick Mullens has signed his exclusive rights free agent tender to return to San Francisco for the 2020 season. (Field Yates on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The former South Miss product was signed to the 49er's as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He played and started eight games as a rookie after Jimmy Garoppolo went down with an injury in 2018, posting a 13/10 TD/INT ratio and 2,277 yards. He seemed to handle himself well and secured his role as a backup for Garoppolo in 2019 and beyond.
