The Bears and free agent wide receiver and return specialist Ted Ginn have agreed to a one-year deal. (Chicago Bears on Twitter)
Drafted ninth overall in 2007, Ginn has had a steady career after failing to live up to his initial pre-draft hype. Although he's never cracked 60 catches or 800 yards in a single season, the speedy Ginn can still open up the field for his teammates, as seen last year when Saints' Michael Thomas caught 149 balls for 1,725 yards. Ginn himself doesn't have much fantasy value, but his presence in Chicago should keep defenses honest and open up additional opportunities for Allen Robinson, who saw 9.6 targets per game in 2019, good for third-highest in the league.
