Carson Wentz confirms he suffered a concussion in playoff loss

Carson Wentz confirmed that he suffered a concussion in the Eagles' Wild Card loss to the Seahawks this January. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

"It was scary stuff," Wentz said. "You only get one of these brains and you have to protect it." Wentz attempted just four passes before being knocked out by Jadeveon Clowney and replaced by Josh McCown. This was the third straight season that the team's franchise quarterback has failed to finish the season healthy. Philadelphia then spent a second-round pick on Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts in this year's draft.
