Per league sources, veteran free agent QB Mike Glennon has agreed to terms with the Jacksonville Jaguars. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Glennon came into the league in 2013 when he was drafted in the third round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was released by the Bucs, and later signed a three-year, $45M deal with the Chicago Bears. That contract turned out to be a major disaster, as Glennon went on to only start four games for the Bears in 2017. He went on to play for the Cardinals in 2018, and most recently the Raiders last season. In his six-year career, he’s only thrown for 5,163 yards, 36 TDs and 20 INTs. He’ll come into Jacksonville as the backup to QB Gardner Minshew II. It’s obvious now that Minshew mania is about to take off in Jacksonville, but the Jaguars are bringing in a capable backup just in case that doesn’t work out.
