Rashard Higgins is the favorite to start as the Browns' third wide receiver due to his chemistry with QB Baker Mayfield, per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. (Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com)

Higgins recently re-signed with the Browns and set to be third on the depth chart behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry. "Higgins has an advantage over rookie Donovan Peoples-Jones in that he already has good chemistry with Baker Mayfield. With the possibility of no in-person offseason program or minicamps, a newcomer such as Peoples-Jones, the Browns’ sixth-round pick out of Michigan, won’t have a chance to get those much-needed reps with Mayfield," per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. He will compete with People-Jones for the Cleveland's WR3 spot. Higgins hauled in four catches for 55 yards and touchdown across four games in 2019. The 25-year-old is currently 151st among all wideouts in the latest expert consensus rankings.
