Maye is entering the final season of his rookie contract, but the Jets are unlikely to re-sign him. After being limited to just six contests in 2018 due to a shoulder injury, Maye suited up for all 16 games in 2019, racking 65 tackles and one interception. The Jets are looking extend star strong safety Jamal Adams and selected Ashtyn Davis in the third round, making Maye the odd man out in the Jets defensive backfield. Maye is currently outside the top-60 among all DBs in the latest expert consensus rankings.
