Fantasy Impact:

“I can’t speak to exactly when I’m going to be ready, but it will not be Day One,” said Flacco. It was originally thought that the veteran would be ready for the start of the season, but he confirmed today that won’t be the case. Flacco recently signed a one-year deal with New York to be the QB2 behind starter Sam Darnold after spending 11 years with the Ravens and one year with the Broncos. He went on to say that he’s been working out and he remains optimistic for a mid-September return.
